The aim of this course is to provide participants with knowledge, skills and training in first aid and allow to them the opportunity to achieve the HSE Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate Course

Course
3 Days (18 participant contact hours). This course is normally run over 3 consecutive days. However it can be adjusted to meet the needs of an organisation where it is a group booking

Resuscitation, Personal Protective Equipment, Incident Management, Unconsciousness, Choking, Bleeding, Seizures, Burns/Scalds, Heart Conditions, Stroke, Fractures, Dislocations, Safe moving and handling, Head Injuries, Paediatric Emergencies, Chest Injuries, Crush Injuries, Effects of Heat/Cold, Recording & Reporting Accidents.
Certification
HSE Approved First Aid at Work Certificate

Basic Paediatric First Aid
Course length: 7 participant contact hours
Course Syllabus: resuscitation, personal protective equipment, incident handling, dealing with bleeding, unconsciousness, burns and scalds, seizures, choking, head injuries, ey injuries, poisons and meningitis.
Certificate: Basic paediatric first aid certificate

Sports First Aid
Course Aim
The aim of this course is to provide participants with training in sports first aid.
Course Length: 7 participant contact hours
